Postfix: message_size_limit

I had problem with Postfix mail server on my Ubuntu 4.10. The problem was simply, that I could not send mails with attachments greater than few MBs. The solution was to add one line to /etc/postfix/main.cf and restarting my mail server:

message_size_limit = 20240000

This increased my mail size to around 20MB.

    Marcin,

    Are you aware that 4.10 no longer gets security updates? Even 5.10 is out of life - the announcement is here:

    https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-security-announce/2006-October/000418.html

    So you need to upgrade to 6.06 which gets updates for 5 years on the server.

    And, *grin* don't forget you can buy commercial support for your server from us at Canonical - http://www.ubuntu.com/support/paid
